Speed painted Spanish Line Infantry & comparison

Time for the traditional Sunday post, and you guessed it… more speed painted infantry, this time Spanish Line. These are the same chaps from my earlier post, just based up.

I thought that you may be interested to see a picture of some speed painted and some ‘normally’ painted figures (black undercoat), so there is a stand of each in the photos below

Speed painted (L) Normal (R)

Let me know what you think. As always comments and feedback welcome.

Next up is speed painting blue uniforms so stay tuned for that. Also got some artillery and generals lined up too for the speed painting process!

  1. Very nice as usual James.Slight edge of preference for the traditional black undercoated ones but not necessarily worth the extra time when viewed at wargames distance. One point though is that I think it would show respect for your viewers if, when taking photos of set pieces like this (as opposed to in-game), you straighten the muskets and bayonets first. Hope you won’t mind an old mate saying this. cheers Chris
